SNIEDZE
Description
‘Sniedze’, introduced by Dzidra Rieksta in 1997, is a hardy park shrub rose. It forms a dense, pyramid-shaped bush of around 1.2–1.5 m wide and tall, with leathery, dark-green, wrinkled leaves and very prickly stems. From mid-June to late autumn, it produces medium-sized (5–7 cm), bowl-shaped, fully double white blooms in clusters of 7–15, releasing a strong, pleasing fragrance. A vigorous, disease- and weather-resistant plant, it’s ideal for low-maintenance, fragrant garden hedges or cottage borders.
