Tā zied lielos, pildītos, kausveida ziedos, kuru diametrs ir aptuveni 10–12 cm, un tiem ir mirdzoši ceriņrozā līdz violets nokrāsa. Tā izstaro spēcīgu, saldu “austrumniecisku” aromātu un nepārtraukti zied no vēla pavasara līdz rudenim.
