To keep roses healthy and growing well, you should take into account 3 very simple recommendations:

1. It is advisable to water roses in the morning and avoid watering roses in the evening, so that the roses are as dry as possible by the time they “go to bed”. This is important to prevent, for example, brown spotting.

2. Water wisely, without much pressure and only at the base, avoiding wetting the leaves and flowers, as well as “washing away” the soil (and therefore nutrients). This is mainly important to prevent, for example, the occurrence of powdery mildew.

3. It is advisable to find a balance in the frequency of watering roses - the soil of the rose should not be too wet for a long time, and at the same time it should not dry out in the summer. It is better to water less often, but more thoroughly, than often in small amounts.
