CHARLES DE GAULLE® Meilanein
Description
CharlesdeGaulle® ("Meilanein") is a fragrant violet-lilac coloured hybrid tea/shrub rose introduced by Meilland. It forms a bushy, upright plant (60–90 cm tall) with individual, large, cup-shaped blooms (~12 cm, ~38 petals). The flowers possess a strong, enveloping rose fragrance with lemon verbena nuances, and they bloom repeatedly from spring until the first frosts. It is disease resistant, hardy and has won several fragrance awards — ideally suited for borders, patios or cut flowers.
