Description
LidijaFreimane® is a Latvian park rose that was bred by Roberts Āboliņš in the 1960s. It grows 150–200 cm in height and 120–150 cm in width, forming an upright, pyramidal shrub with large, glossy, dark green leaves. It has 8–11 cm large, fully double bright violet-pink flowers (3–7 per stem) with a strong fragrance, which bloom repeatedly throughout the season. The thorns are abundant, and the rose is very resistant to diseases, drought and winter hardy — excellently suited for hedges, park plantings or fragrant garden centres.
